The role of the Credit Controller and Finance Administrator is to provide administrative support to the finance team - including but not limited to invoicing, reconciliation, credit control and allocations.
• Reconcile and process the daily direct debits and process the associated reports

• Provide an effective credit control service and ensure the aged debt is kept within agreed company guidelines

• Chase overdue invoices by telephone, letter and email within agreed timescales

• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity

• Conduct all statement reconciliation, direct debit and credit card activities in accordance with Company procedures and guidelines

• Deal with client /customer queries efficiently, timely, and in a professional manner

• Play part in answering the finance telephone line, answering queries, taking and applying payments

• Be responsible for specified finance email inbox, complying with an SLA of 48 hours from receipt

• Using the finance system to update with information on a daily/ weekly basis as required

• Reconciliation of accounts

• Supply any ad hoc analysis on request

• Undertake additional tasks and project work across the finance team as required
Education/Qualifications
• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent

Experience/Knowledge
• MS Office- including Excel
• Finance administration, including credit control
• Accounts experience
• Agresso system
